ABSTRACT

The aim of this paper was to analyze psychometric properties of a review of the PANAS short form (Thompson, 2007), within the framework of the psychosocial impact of Covid-19 pandemic. Sample was international and non-randomized, withe people from 1) Colombia (72%), 2) Brasil (9.5%), 3) other Latinoamerican countries (12.1%) and USA, Canada, and European countries (6.31%). Results showed high alfa (0.82) and omega (0.82) internal reliability coefficients, without differences between groups, according Feld's test. Both parallel and exploratory factor analysis show a bi- dimensional factorial structure, with RSMEA: 0.079, RMSR: 0.042;CFI: 0.949 and GFI: 0.989, but with important differences between simples in adjustment goodness indicators. Regarding convergent validity, high informal social support perception (relatives, friends), a high active coping and a course of time more positive, faster and hopeful were associated with a better affect balance.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this work was to know the relationships between the non-compliance figures of seven restrictions imposed by social isolation due to Covid-19 (Behaviours Contrary to Coexistence, BCC) between March 16 and May 1, 2020, with the economic indicators of criminality, social net-work between 2015 and 2018, and contagions in 2020 in all 32 departments of Colombia and Bo-gota (n = 33). The outcome was: a) a direct correlation between total rates of BCC and regional rates of crime against property, b) direct relations between more infringements by agglomerations and higher rate of accumulated infections by Covid-19, c) a greater negative emotional climate and a lo-wer satisfaction with the police was associated with more infringements by agglomerations and the non -use of masks, d) a lower collective efficacy was associated with more violations due to unauthorized alcohol consumption, e) a greater communal coping was associated with fewer offenses due to alcohol consumption. Although the size of the correlations was moderate, the evidence supports the "broken window" and social disorganization theories.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this study was to identify the spatial and temporal patterns of seven behaviours contrary to coexistence (BCC) during the lockdown measures applied at a national level in Colombia for 47 days. For this, 363,439 administrative records collected by the National Police from March 16 to May 1, 2020 regarding BCCs were analysed, all including the following information: time, day, date, type of behaviour, age and state or department of the offender. The results showed: (a) temporal relationships between the number of daily or accumulated cases of COVID-19 and the rates of BCCs per 100,000 inhabitants, (b) concentration of BCCs between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm or between 2:00 pm and 6 pm, (c) greater frequency of alcoholic beverage consumption on weekends, (d) in relation to age, the 18-24 age group had the highest number of corrective measures.
